Pav Bhaji Recipe Ingredients:

  • For Pressure cooking:
  • 1 chopped carrot
  • 8 florets cauliflower
  • 5 chopped beans
  • 3 tbsp peas
  • 2 potato peeled and cubed
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • For Pav Bhaji Recipe
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 0.5 capsicum finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.5 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 tsp pav bhaji masala
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup grated paneer
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 0.5 cup of water
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • For toasting Pav:
  • Butter
  • pav bhaji masala powder
  • finely chopped coriander powder

Step By Step Procedure of pav bhaji recipe:

  • Firstly, take a pressure cooker and pour 2 cups of water in it and place a steamer bowl.
  • Add carrot, florets cauliflower, beans, peas, potato, and salt.
  • pressure cook for 4 whistles.
  • Transfer the cooked veggies into a bowl.
  • Take a large Kadai and heat butter and saute coriander until it turns aromatic.
  • Now add onion and ginger garlic paste. Saute well.
  • Further, add capsicum and saute until it softens slightly.
  • Additionally, add 2 tomatoes and saute until it turns soft and mushy.
  • mash until it turns soft. Create a gap in the center.
  • Add 1 tbsp butter and saute turmeric, chilli powder, and pav bhaji masala until it turns aromatic.

  • 4 tbsp coriander seeds / dhaniya seeds
  • 2 tbsp cumin seeds/jeera
  • 2 bay leaf / tej patta
  • 10 cloves / lavang
  • 2 cardamom / elachi
  • 2-inch cinnamon stick / dalchini
  • 1 tbsp pepper/kali mirch
  • ¾ tbsp saunf / fennel seeds
  • 10 dried Kashmiri red chili / lal mirch
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder / Haldi
  • 1 tbsp dry mango powder/amchur powder

Step By Step Procedure:

  • firstly, take a thick bottomed pan and dry roast cumin seeds and coriander seeds on low to medium flame till they turn aromatic. keep aside.
  • now dry roast bay leaf, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon stick, pepper, and fennel seeds.
  • dry roast all on low to medium flame till they flip aromatic. keep aside.
